10 days left! At the moment I’m about 3,000 words behind schedule and thus will have around 4,600 to write tomorrow if I want to catch up. The funny thing is, is that when I write, I average about the 1,666 words a day, but I just haven’t recovered from missing a few days in the beginning.
Sigh. I guess that’s some advice for aspiring NaNoWriMo-ers: don’t get behind. Interestingly enough, that’s also a lesson of my book about zombies. Also, this: “Stay alive.”
Wait, did someone else say that already? Curse you, Suzanne Collins! (JK, I love you. Will you write more Gregor the Overlander books, please?)
But I have written over 30,000 words and even if I don’t finish on time, I think that I will finish. I’ve only got 20,000 more to go! I’m over the hump! I can do it! I’ve got to, even though most of the time, I feel like this guy:
Ok, onto more writing. I finished The Raven Boys which was very enjoyable but not Scorpio Races good. Look for a full review soon and hopefully some reviews of Ash by Malinda Lo and Origin by Jessica Khoury because that’s what I’m reading next.
